This one-of-a-kind vintage wool blazer has had its lining and padding removed, seams sealed and edges sewn down using hot pink stitching. It has been revitalized using felt applique designs inspired by Willy S's "A Winter's Tale," featuring the words "exit pursued by bear," accompanied by a large friendly bear on the back, and a sewn down pocket square with a bear on it. Recycled bright blue ribbing cuffs and house made screen printed labels.

This capsule collection is a collaboration between HOUSE OF WILDWOOD and WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE to rewild a number of dinner jackets back into the fashion ecosystem. Each item is a celebration of Shakespeare’s colourfully inventive prose, rife with evocative symbolism and cheeky irreverence. Through bold shapes and simple geometries our designs echo the bombast of Shakespearean English. Be elegantly theatrical, and stylishly pragmatic in this timeless classic. Codpiece sold separately.
Note: William Shakespeare is a writer and poet from the United Kingdom, well known for his menagerie of exotic birds and love of box wine. At a house party he once shouted at the top of his lungs ”ALL THE WORLDS A STAGE, AND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS!, then promptly threw his glass at the wall and walked out the door. No one saw him for weeks after, but his agent told people he was on a “mystic quest” and would be back when “winter tames man.” William’s works have been translated into more than 75 different languages.

All HOUSE OF WILDWOOD™ items are handmade by The Wildwoods in their Victoria atelier. All materials, including notions are recycled, and sourced within a 60km radius of our atelier.

SIZING
All our clothing items are unisex, oversized, and are designed to be comfortable. There may be slight variations in sizes due to the craftsmanship involved in making them.
SHIPPING + RETURNS
All items ship in compostable packaging with 100% recycled paper hang-tags printed with non-toxic ink.
Readymade orders will ship within one week. Custom-made orders can take up to 3-4 weeks to create and ship.
Since all our items are handmade and one-of-a-kind only unworn and unused items accompanied by the original purchase receipt can be exchanged for store credit within 5 days of delivery. You are responsible for all shipping costs, and upon us receiving the item in above mentioned condition you will receive an email with your store credit info.
